The East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District (ESRCD) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Executive Director to lead our efforts in promoting conservation, sustainable agriculture, and natural resource management in Stanislaus County. This is an exciting opportunity to drive impactful programs, strengthen partnerships, and support local landowners and communities in conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee ESRCD’s daily operations
  • Develop and manage budgets, grants, and funding opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agencies, and community partners
  • Oversee conservation programs, technical assistance, and outreach initiatives
  • Represent ESRCD in public forums, advocacy efforts, and stakeholder meetings

  • Assist in planning and coordinating activities for the Engagement and Jr. Chef Programs
  • Support educational workshops, cooking demonstrations, and community outreach events
  • Work with schools, community organizations, and local partners to promote program participation
  • Help manage program materials, schedules, and participant communications
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and social media outreach to share program successes

Qualifications:

  • Passion for community engagement, food education, and conservation initiatives
