There is a public meeting of the Board of Directors on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:00pm. If that day is a holiday, then the Board selects an alternate date. The agenda and materials are available at least 72 hours in advance. To receive meeting announcements, email info@eaststanrcd.org with the subject line: Add to Board Notice List.

Public Comments: We encourage public participation! You can submit comments ahead of the meeting by emailing info@eaststanrcd.org or present them during the meeting.
All materials on this page may be revised until 72 hours prior to the meeting. If materials are not available for an agenda item by 72 hours prior to a meeting, the item may be pulled from the agenda.

New Board Members Wanted!
As a board member, your leadership and expertise will help shape policies and programs that conserve our natural resources, support local agriculture, and enhance the resilience of our ecosystems.
This is a volunteer position with a commitment to attend monthly board meetings and participate in various committees and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings.
- Assist in fundraising and outreach efforts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the RCD’s strategic plan.
- Oversee the RCD’s programs, projects, and financial health.
- Advocate for resource conservation within the community.
- Serve on committees and workgroups as needed.
Qualifications:
- Own property in the District (or be a designated agent of a land owner within the District) Our District area is anywhere in Stanislaus County east of the San Joaquin River.
- OR have served as an Associate Director for two years (as a substitute for not owning land within the District). There is no substitute for not residing in the District.
- Passion for natural resource conservation and community development.
- Knowledge of local environmental issues and sustainable practices.
- Willingness to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in agriculture, environmental science, land management, or related fields.
