SLEWS
The Student and Landowner Education and Watershed Stewardship (SLEWS) Program connects students with hands-on learning experiences that build real-world skills in agriculture, conservation, and environmental stewardship. Through paid internships, participants work alongside ESRCD staff, landowners, and community partners on projects that support specialty crops, healthy watersheds, and sustainable practices. SLEWS interns gain practical experience, professional mentorship, and leadership skills while making a meaningful impact in their local community.
